Ok, Jodi was just about to give me my
shot that I have to get every day. It's this drug
that helps you produce white blood cells after chemo.
Well, she's about to "shoot me up" when her personal
Red Bull supplier man shows up (red bull is a
sugar/vitamin/caffeine drink that insane people mix
with vodka in order to more expidetiously turn into
monsters - Jodi buys the stuff for the likes of Tuff
Toni - to keep them from harassing her at work for
it. Tuff T. however, claims she drinks it straight).
So the pusher man opens the door while I'm scrambling
to pull down my sleeve and Jodi's hiding the needles,
so we told him to just lay the goods down right next
to the works.
On a more wholesome tip, my NEW FOOD RECOMMENTAION of
the week is Paul Newman's yummy whole wheat pretzels
dipped into "Bobbi's" hummus. Both items can be
bought at Essene (4th and Monroe). The pretzels I
always liked. They taste like regular pretzels but
somehow more buttery and yum, yet are no or low fat
and made from whole wheat instead of crappy assed
white flour. Then we tried dipping them into "Zev's"
hummus (also from Essene) I thought I was on to
something. IT WAS THEN that Jodi told me about "Your
favorite Hummus, recipe by Bobbi". Unbelievable. So
creamy, so pungent , so garlicky and fresh. This is a
must run out and eat item. Good luck and have fun.
That's all for now, I have a big ol' headache and my
eyeballs feel like they have little glass shards in
them (the nuclear waste caught up), so it's a big
night of Arron Spelling reruns for me. What would we
do without him?
